Special Orders

Special Orders may require a Deposit or Full Payment prior to ordering. Once a Special Order is placed they are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-CANCELABLE . NO EXCEPTIONS . Special Orders may also include extra shipping charges.

Freight Options
We will always quote freight approximately. Only at the time the parts are paid for and ready to ship can we notify you of a firm quote, as almost EVERY package varies in size, weight and delivery and address! We use Australia Post and Start Track Express for deliveries within Australia and either EMS International Couriers or Australia Post Economy Air Freight for all international small packages, UPS Freight Services for pallet size packages. We also have available other firms like DHL, FedEx etc for those who have accounts with these firms.

All goods within Australia come with a minimun of $100.00 base Insurance when shipped via Australia Post, and $500.00 base insurance with Star Track Express against loss or damage. For Values over this insurance is not provided unless specified by the Customer in writing to RPW Service Centre. Additional Insurance coverage will cost extra to be calculated at time of invoicing.  Exceptions to this are COD Money Orders which are insured at full values and Over Night Air bags which are not insurable.

International Customer freight packages are not insured at all unless requested so in writing at time of order.

Where goods are lost in transit you will be required to lodge a claim with RPW Service Centre. From there your choice is to either wait until the goods are found or pay for replacement goods and be credited at a later stage once RPW is credited from the appropriate freight company. This is a very rare occurrence but does happen.

Return Policy
No Returns after 30 days with the exception of Manufacturer Warranty. No returns on Special Order items or Discontinued Products or Electronics. example: Turbo Timers, Boost Controllers, Computers, Etc. If a return is needed, you must contact us at 61 9443 1719. A return fee of 25% plus shipping to and from, will be deducted from the refund. Refunds are issued by Store Credit unless arranged seperatly with RPW Management.  Please contact us for more information regarding returns.

Warranties
Warranty claims may take as long as 60 days. Racing Performance Works. will not issue any credit until the manufacturer receives, inspects and verifies that the product is defective. ONLY then will credit be issued. Shipping is NOT covered under warranty. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Warranty will not cover customer abuse, incorrect application, or negligence.
Refund Policy
Absolutely no refunds on turbo kits, intercoolers, wheels, exhaust systems, downpipes, brake kits, coil over kits, special orders or electronic parts. Waivers on this policy can be reviewed on an individual basis with our management staff. Store credit can be applied on item's that are 100% not used or mounted to the vehicle. 20% restocking fee applies. A 10% cancellation fee applies to ANY cancelled order

Refused Orders

All Returned/Refused Shipments Will be charged a $25.00 Handling Fee and all Freight Charges.

Damage Claims

All merchandise is packed carefully and above shipping requirements before leaving the warehouse. Damaged shipments MUST be checked while in the presence of the carrier. All claims for damaged or loss goods must be made with the carrier. Keep all shipping cartons and packaging materials for the carrier inspection. Once this has been lodged with the carrier, Racing Performance Works will file a claim but no refunds will be provided until the insurer has refunded Racing Performance Works. The customer can meanwhile either purchase replacement goods or wait until the insurance has been paid out.
What methods of shipping do we use?
For orders dispatched from/within Australia we use the services of TNT, DHL, Australian Air Express, Star Track Express, Toll Ipec and Australia Post.
The main reasons for using professional couriers are quick prompt deliveries (generally next business day delivery within Australia and within Japan) and each parcel is traceable with its own tracking id. Most of the above mentioned companies have an online tracking system in which you can monitor the progress of your delivery with the chosen logistics company.

Orders that are sent via regular post such as the services with Australia post will take longer and generally do require to be registered which means id sighting and signature is required upon receiving of the item to be more safe and secured. International Orders that are sent via normal post are highly recommended to be insured if the items are valued over $100.00. Australia Post do not have an online tracking system for their methods of delivery.

What are the costs of shipping?

The cost of shipping varies depending on each order and is calculated on weight, dimensions, destinations, method of requested delivery on each order. The calculations we use are based on delivery services that you chose (pickups from our store is also available). But rest assured that we will always choose the best method of delivery for your order. If your order is urgent we can express freight your order at your request (additional charges will apply). If you have an account with your own preferred logistics company you are also welcome to use that method, we will just require your account details for that company.

 

Is the delivery insured?

No, International Orders are sent via express couriers and are traceable by the couriers. We make it optional for orders to be insured if you like but the costs are extra and it varies depending on each logistical company. Australian Orders are all insured to the value of the goods, except where sent via Couriers Services like TNT which require signatures upon pickup. This includes road and air freight services. Air Freight services cannot be insured within Australia. Road Freight services can be insured, but at an extra cost. This must be confirmed in writing by the customer at time of ordering.

How long will it take to get my products?

Within Australia once dispatched from our Perth Branch;

Normal Australia Post; 3 ~ 21 days (* subjected to Australia Post delivery timeframes and delivery destination)

Startrack Road Express - 5 - 7 Days on average.
Other Courier & Logistics Companies; 1 ~ 21 days (* subjected to the logistics delivery timeframes and delivery destination and method chosen).
Startrack Air Express Overnight Within Australia.

International Deliveries;

For orders dispatched from Perth to another country we generally use these services for small orders;
Australia Post;
Generally 5~14 business days
EMS Express; Generally 7~10 business days
DHL; Generally 2~5 business days

Again all the above is generally the time frame that you may expect to receive your orders but please be aware that the arrival times can vary depending on your countries customs and logistics companies methods.

For larger orders or large items we can dispatch via these services

Air Freight Express; 3~10 days (depending on the orders destination and when flights are available)
Economy Air; 10~21 days (depending on the orders destination and when flights are available)
Ocean Freight; 10~90 days (depending on the orders destination and when vessels are available)
Exporting to other countries outside of Japan and Australia can vary on delivery times (* subjected to delivery method and destination).
If there are any delays due to unforeseen circumstances on our behalf or if it is brought to our attention, you will be notified. We do experience delays over holiday periods such as public holidays, Christmas and New Year.

Special Request Orders.

There are some specialised products that we make available that require a special order process to be put through which can take a considerable amount of time in which you will be notified. Examples of these products can be of specific professional race products such as custom designed orders, race engines, exhausts, suspensions, race cars, piston assemblies, forged conrods, any item manafactured specifically to the customers order or just once off unusual bulk shipments just to name a few.

Delivery Delays.

There will be some occasions when delivery methods have been delayed due to unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances due to natural disasters such as Typhoons, Hurricanes, Cyclones, Earthquakes etc., logistics industry disputes or customs etc and of which RPW has no control over. We will endeavor to choose the best method every time an order is received. If there is any issues that have been brought to our attention we will endeavor to contact you as soon as we possibly can.

Racing Performance Works strongly recommends that only trained persons or tradespeople install all parts purchased. Improper installation of any part may void the vehicle warranty, damage the vehicle, and/or may cause injury or death

Racing Performance Works (Hereby known as RPW) does not guarantee the legality of any products we sell. Some parts sold by RPW  may void the warranty (if any) of the vehicle on which you are installing the parts. It is the customer's responsibility to check with local, state, federal laws, and manufacturers, before ordering any products from RPW. Some parts we sell are for racing use only and are not legal at any time for public street use.

Likewise, RPW does not guarantee the appropriateness of any product for any application or purpose. All product purchases from the RPW are done at the customer's own risk. The customer accepts full responsibility for selecting any product for any application or purpose, regardless of the fitment guidance provided by RPW, or related distributors, website or from verbal or written guidance provided by RPW employees or associates.

RPW products come with a 12 mths / 20,000km warranty. Where problems exist with fitment to vehicles, RPW responsibility is limited to the replacement of that faulty item only. RPW will not be liable for consequential, damage charges etc. Where problems occur with goods supplied and new vehicle warranties, they must be sorted out with appropriate vehicle manufacturer. It is understood that any emailing / filling out of the above online form you have read and understood these requirements and hereby do accept them.
