As many people are now aware, the RPW Website has had some major updates applied to it. Below is an outline of those changes. As can be seen, these are major updates, and we expect the quality of our website to improve dramatically, as well as improve our level of service and information.
- Website server has been moved to a new location, and PHP Software upgraded from PHP4 to PHP5 operating software
- Joomla program has been upgraded from Joomla Version 1.05 to newer Joomla 1.5.15
- Virtuamart program within Joomla has been upgraded to matching Joomla version
- The website layout has been changed for a cleaner look
- Menu options have been reduced and cleaned up, to provide more concise information
- More detailed information on tuning options
- Model vehicles in the online store have been reduced to focus more on those vehicle models we specialize in
- More vehicle performance modification guides for larger range of vehicles
- Email registrations should now be available for all email types without the spam issues we had previously.
We hope you enjoy the new website. We would also like to sincerely thank Spektor (As known on many forums) for his aid over the past 2 months in developing the software and settings to enable us to setup this new website and transfer across to replace the old one.
